Akata Patel, DMD

Dr. Patel earned her Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Chemistry and minor in Psychology from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Following, she achieved her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She continued her education at Jersey Shore University Medical Center completing a General Practice Residency Program where she enhanced her skills in all phases of dentistry. Dr. Patel loves to expand her knowledge by attending the latest dental continuing education courses to better serve her patients and to stay up to date with the newest advancements in dentistry. Dr. Patel enjoys the meaningful relationships formed with patients over the years of caring for them. She strives to provide our patients with the best and most compassionate care. Born and raised in Edison, Dr. Patel has been practicing in the neighboring towns for 7 years. This area has a special place in her heart and she loves serving the community.
